Pepa Duarte’s new play is a powerful and vulnerable exploration of food, the kitchen, the act of nurturing ourselves and how this relates to what it means to be a woman in Peruvian society.

The show becomes a communal experience through the use of onstage cooking while examining the performer’s deep fight around body image and self-care.

A shared ritual with South American flavour, it takes the audience back to our roots and questions how different or similar we really are.

The play is written & performed by Pepa Duarte and directed by Sergio Maggiolo.
